MASS STEM WEEK
October 21-25, 2024
Massachusetts STEM Week 2024 will take place from October 21–25 and is a statewide collaborative effort organized by the Executive Office of Education and the STEM Advisory Council in partnership with the state’s nine Regional STEM Networks, like MSEN, which plan and coordinate activities with local school communities, community leaders, and business partners.
The theme for 2024 is STEM Starts Now!
If you are looking for programming to implement or participate in during STEM Week (and beyond), watch the Information Session recording and explore the links below to learn about state-sponsored Design Challenges and other opportunities open to participants across the Commonwealth!
Massachusetts STEM Week 2024 Opportunities:
Young women, students of color, English language learners, and students with disabilities continue to be underrepresented in STEM fields, yet make up a larger percentage of the overall workforce. We need this statewide effort to boost the interest, awareness, and ability of all young people to see themselves in STEM opportunities.
STEM Week is always a huge success with both in-person and virtual events across the Commonwealth. Schools, non-profit organizations, colleges, museums, and businesses all participate to host and organize STEM Week events for students ranging from pre-school to college.
