This course will use an OpenSciEd unit to model and guide educators through the shift toward student-centered science teaching and learning, where students ‘figure out' and explain a real-world phenomenon, as well as the implementation of high-quality instructional materials (HQIM).

We are looking for 25-30 high school teachers to join us for two days of climate education workshops. The event will include teasers of CATE curricular materials, interactive presentations from MIT faculty and staff, an En-ROADS Simulator workshop, MIT's Climate Justice Instructional Toolkit, networking opportunities with other Massachusetts high school teachers, tours of MIT labs, and breakfast and lunch.
